     John Bullard was born about 1596 in Barnham, Suffolk, England.1,2 He was the son of William Bullard and Grace Bignett.1,2 In England John married Magdalen Martyn, daughter of John Martyn.1,2 John Bullard and Magdalen Martyn lived in 1636 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 John Bullard was a proprietor in 1638 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 He and Magdalen Martyn were admitted to the church on 2 May 1639 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 John Bullard became a freeman on 13 May 1640 in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 He and Magdalen Martyn were dismissed to the Church in Dedham on 30 May 1641 from in Watertown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.1 John Bullard was a proprietor in 1650 in Medfield, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.1 Before 26 February 1663/64 John married Ellen unknown.1,2 In 1675, he is on the list of subscribers to the fund for the "new brick college" (Harvard), his contribution to be a bushel and a half of "Indian corn."1 John Bullard died on Thursday, 27 October 1678 in Medfield, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, His death was accidental, the result of "the overthrow of a cart."1,2
