Aldred of Bernicia was born about 1009.1 He was the son of Uchtred Earldorman of Northumbria and Ecgfrida.1 Aldred of Bernicia was also known as Ealdred. He killed Thurebrand, and was then murdered by Thurbrand's son, Karl.1
