Eticho Count in the Breisgau and Ammergau was the son of Welf I Count in the Argengau and the Linzgau and Heilwig.1 Eticho married Judith of Wessex, daughter of Æthelwulf King of England and Osburh.1 Eticho Count in the Breisgau and Ammergau died about 910 in Ettal, Ammergau, Bayern, Germany, as a monk in the monastery he had founded there.1
