     Ermesinde de Carcassonne was the daughter of Roger I Seigneur of Comminges and Adelaide of Auvergne.1 Between 990 and 991 Ermesinde married Raymond Borrel I Count of Barcelona, Gerona and Osona, son of Borrell II Marquis of Barcelona, Count of Gerona and Odona and Luitgarde de Toulouse.1 Ermesinde de Carcassonne died on Sunday, 1 March 1057.1
