Marie de Champagne was born about 1129.1 She was the daughter of Theobald IV "the Great" Count of Blois and Champagne and Mathilda von Sponheim.1 In 1145 Marie married Eudes II "Borel" Duke of Burgundy, son of Hugh II "the Peaceful" Duke of Burgundy and Mathilda de Turenne.1 She was a nun at Fontevrault.1 Marie de Champagne died about 1190.1
