     Ermesinde of Longwy was the daughter of Adalbert III Count of Longwy and Duke of Upper Lorraine and Clemence de Foix.1 In 1051 Ermesinde married William V Count of Poitou, son of William III "the Great" Count of Poitou and Agnes of Burgundy Princess of Lombardy.1 Ermesinde of Longwy died after 1058 a nun.1
