Ernst "the Bold" Margrave of Austria was born between 1020 and 1027.1 He was the son of Adelbert"the Victorious" Margrave of Austria and Adelaide.1 About 1054 Ernst married Adelaide von Eilenburg, daughter of Dedi II Margrave of Ostmark, Count of Eilenburg and of Lausnitz and Oda von der Ostmark.1,2 Ernst "the Bold" Margrave of Austria died on Wednesday, 9 June 1075.2 He was killed on Wednesday, 9 June 1075 in Homburg, Germany.1 He was buried in Melk.1
