     Alexius III Angelos Emperor of the East was born after 1155.1 He was the son of Andronikos Angelos Doukas Ambassador to Jerusalem and Euphrosyne Kastamonitissa.1 Before 1195 Alexius married Euphrosyne Kamatera Doukaina, daughter of Andronikos Kamateros Doukas.1 Alexius III Angelos Emperor of the East was crowned Emperor of the East in 1195.1 Alexius III was deposed by his son-in-law, Theodore I, in 1203 and imprisoned in a monastery.1 He died after 1211 imprisoned in a monistary.1
