     John Adams was born on 18 February 1657/58 in Medfield, Norfolk County, Massachusetts.1,2,3,8,9,4,6,5,7 He was the son of Ensign Edward Adams and Lydia Rockwood.1,2,3,4,5,6,7 On 4 April 1681 in Medfield, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, John married Deborah Partridge, daughter of John Partridge and Magdalen Bullard. Bullard (1930) and Tilden (1887) give the marraige year as 1682.1,3,9,4,6,10,7 He received a land grant on the west side of the Charles River in 1682. They lived in Medfield, in that part that became Millis, Massachusetts.1 About 1694 John married Susanna Breck, daughter of Thomas Breck and Mary Hill.1,2,8,9,4,11,3 John Adams died on Monday, 1 March 1751 in Medway, Norfolk County, Massachusetts, at age 93 years and 11 days.1,8,9,4,6,12,2,7
